Around 6 o clock Cheryl Joan Cooper was shot dead just outside her home, her companion, Carl Edmund was left nursing injuries.
One of her daughter's who preferred not to show her face on camera told us how she got the call of her mother's death.
Cheryl was in the passenger seat of the vehicle. One relative told C News she was due to appear in court this Friday for a case involving the ownership of a property.
They said Cheryl had been threatened many times in the past, and there are multiple police reports regarding threats. Her daughter described her as a generous soul.
Carl Esmund remains at hospital.
Police are trying to get CCTV footage from the area in order to track the suspect.
