PM: Costa Rica & Cuban teachers to teach Spanish in T&T

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley says Costa Rica and Cuba have agreed to send non-English-speaking teachers here to help teach the Spanish language.

"So as to allow Spanish to be more than an exam in Trinidad and Tobago and to be a language that we can speak across this country and they have agreed."

The Prime Minister said local manufacturers should look to export products through Latin America and other Spanish-speaking territories.
