The Marabella North Secondary School was evacuated following a bomb scare on Thursday.

Reports say school officials received a bomb threat around 10:30am indicating that a bomb had been placed at the facility.

Staff and students were then asked to immediately evacuate the compound and classes were eventually dismissed for the day with the exception of Form Three students who were scheduled to write an assessment exam.

Police and the Fire Services responded but nothing was found.

This is the second bomb threat within three days at one of the nation's learning institutions.
