Kamla Denies Planning Walk-Out

UNC Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar has denied the claims by the government that the Opposition staged a planned walk-out of the Parliament during debate on the FATCA legislation.

The debate on the Tax Information Exchange Agreements Bill was once again adjourned after the Opposition walked out of Parliament on Friday afternoon.

Relatives of Ria Sookdeo, who was abducted on Thursday morning after dropping her children off to school, are appealing for her to be returned home.
