Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley says the growth of the Credit Union movement on the international stage has compelled governments to act.

Speaking at the opening of the 61st Annual Convention of the Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions, Dr Rowley said the regional governments have a responsibility to fulfil with the credit union society.

Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh has said the recent situation which has seen the suspension of a medical intern has raised questions about the selection process for medical students in the country.
