National Cocoa Awards Launched

As the Ministry of Agriculture celebrates the value of Trinitario cocoa, Trinidad and Tobago’s unique, indigenous beans, the National Cocoa Awards Competition 2018 was launched in Centeno on Wednesday.

This bean makes up 5% of the world's cocoa bean production, and is heavily sought after by artisanal chocolate manufacturers around the world.

Marie-Therese Bernard attended the launch of the contest, and tells us it's a precursor to T&T's involvement in the International Cocoa Awards.
