With over six decades in the music industry, Ralph Davies has earned the moniker: the father of jazz!

He has toured the world and has played with some of the best, contributing to the success of calypsonians Kitchener, Sparrow, Lord Relator, Short Pants and Lord Superior.

In a conversation with reporter Dionne Baptiste, the veteran musician recounts some of his fondest memories.
