Independence Steelpan On Tragarete Road

Former Chief of Defence Staff Brigadier General Carl Alfonso does not miss the Independence Day Parade or the after party.

He says since the first parade in 1963, he has taken part in it as a member of the Defence Force and now his second and third generations are also taking part.
