In keeping with its mandate to use tourism as a tool for diversification, the Ministry of Tourism has launched Stay To Get Away, a campaign which encourages domestic tourism by inviting citizens to roam T&T.

The campaign includes a Tourism Education and Awareness component meant to create general awareness and appreciation of the tourism industry as a viable sector for employment, entrepreneurship and national development.

Experience T&T is one of many stakeholders in this project. Its President Lorraine Pouchet is encouraging citizens to take the opportunity to 'holiday at home' and discover the many amazing treasures here.

The C News team of Dionne Baptiste and Shaka Telesford toured Gasparee Caves and documented the experience in this report.
