From Bean to Bar

Over the last three decades cocoa production, exports, acreage under cultivation and farmer participation have steadily declined.

But the Maurice Academy of Design and Craft is determined to generate new interest in the hopes of breathing new life into the industry.

In keeping with this mandate, they recently hosted a workshop at the Ortinola Estate, which gave participants the opportunity to experience first hand, all that transpires from bean to bar.
