SEEING EYE DOGS FOR DISABLED GOV’T WORKERS

Government has launched a new initiative aimed at improving life for the visually impaired.

Service dogs will now be allowed into Government buildings, starting with the Ministry of Food Production.

Service dogs are dogs trained to work with or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, such as a Seeing Eye dog.

The initiative was launched at the Royal Botanic Gardens on Wednesday May 13th, 2015.
