This constituency lies in the deep south of the island and is bordered by Princes Town Princes Town North, Siparia, Naparima and Mayaro.

It had one of the highest voter turnouts in the last General Election. Stacy-Ann Providence visited parts of the constituency this week and found relatively happy constituents except for one main concern across the communities.
