ACONO VILLAGE WATER WOES

Residents of Acono Village in Maracas Valley are up in arms over what they say is the indiscriminate action by a private land developer in their community.

They are calling on the relevant authorities to clear the Acono River of backfill deposited by the land developer and which is adversely affecting an already challenging water situation.
