SARGASSUM CLEAN UP AT CUMANA BEACH

After weeks of sargassum seaweed washing up on the shores along the North East Coast, the Sangre Grande Regional Corporation has embarked on a weekly drive to clean up beaches in the area.

The Corporation has stepped in, hoping to clear the shores before nesting Leatherback Turtles are put at risk.
