Health Watch: The Benefits Of Breastfeeding

Some say breast milk is the best milk for your baby. But here in Trinidad and Tobago, statistics show that less than 50% of mothers breastfeed their infants.

The World Health Organization recommends that mothers feed babies only with breast milk, and no other foods or liquids, for the first six months.

As we continue to focus on different aspects of Health in the month of April, we take a closer look at breastfeeding.
