St Dominic’s Home Work towards Continuum of Care

The St Dominic's Children’s home was founded in 1871, but it no longer operates as an orphanage. It has aligned its mission and vision to reflect global thought leaders on providing optimal care to vulnerable children via a continuum of care frame work incorporating their own recently developed STEPPERS system.

We spoke to Crystal Hospedales, a Social Worker at St. Dominic's Children's Home, she spoke to us about the “continuum of care.” This is a concept involving a system that guides and tracks patients over time through a comprehensive array of health services spanning all levels and intensity of care.
