Walker: Finance Minister’s Statement on Permell Unnecessary

On Friday, the Ministry of Finance released a statement, in effect putting the financial affairs of the Chairman of the CLICO Policyholders Group, Peter Permell in the public domain. Since the release, several persons have questioned the rationale behind the move. David Walker has been involved in the CLICO matter for some years and gave his opinion on the release and other matter relating to CLICO.
