Organisers Put Plans in Place for Tobago Heritage Festival

Just over two weeks ago the organisers of the Tobago Heritage Festival announced its intention for the staging of the event from July 14 to August 1st (Emancipation Day). It has received a cut in funding of over $3.5 million and will have a budget of just $7 million this year. Good Morning Trinidad and Tobago host Verna Bharath-Badal spoke to the new Chairman of the Heritage Festival Committee, George Leacock, about managing the festival with less funding.
