Property Tax & You with Attorney Colvin Blaize

Attorney Colvin Blaize spoke to Dike Rostant about the much-debated Property Tax system. During the conversation, Blaize urged citizen to be prudent and to ensure that they file the necessary paperwork to facilitate the payment of these taxes.

He explained that there are provisions in the Property Tax Act that hold property owners accountable for making payments. He also noted that under Section 23 of the Act, one could apply for a deferral of payment, on the grounds of impoverishment.
