Springer: We Must Remember the History behind Canboulay

The 1881 Canboulay Riots will be re-enacted on the streets of Port of Spain in the form of a play ¬” Kambule” at four o’ clock tomorrow ¬morning at -Piccadilly Greens. The Canboulay re-enactment, which many consider the beginning the official start of Carnival celebrations, will see scores of spectators coming into Port of Spain.
