UNC Candidate Gerard Whyms says electors don’t know what is going on in the corporation and as such says if he is successful in his bid to become Councillor for Caura/ Paradise/ Tacarigua he will hold monthly meetings with the community to address the communication issue. 
 
UNC Macoya/ Trincity candidate Mary Mohammed-Moti says she has been involved in politics for at least 20 years but in the background. She says alleged misrepresentation of the people is what drove her to come to the fore and vie for the position of Councillor.
