(GMTT) “Welcomed News” - Santa Rosa First Peoples Community On Holiday To Be Granted

“Welcomed news” - that’s how Chief of the Santa Rosa First Peoples Community views news that his community will be granted a one-off holiday. Although the date is yet to be determined Chief Ricardo Bharat Hernandez says it’s a “step closer to rightful recognition” for his community. The community had been lobbying, for around two years, for a holiday in their honour.
