Why meet now? Political Analyst Dr. Bishnu Ragoonath says both the Government and Opposition have seen it fit to meet and address the crime situation in the country as it seems that it has grown out of hand and out of control.

He says the meeting which is set to take place on Friday shows that Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley and Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar are willing to "take the bull by the horn" and actually converse with each other.
