Being passionate and believing in himself allowed Kestor Wade to become a NIHERST NASA student.

According to Wade a NIHERST NASA student is a representative of NIHERST that is able to attend an internship at The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

During Wade's international internship he worked on a self repairing water filtration system.
