The National Parent Teachers Association (NPTA) is unwilling to accept that schools will not be opened come school year 2016/2017.

NPTA's President Zena Ramatali says the organisation wasn't pleased with the Education Facilities Company Limited (EFCL) past performance but is willing to give its new board a chance.

According to the NPTA school repairs have always been a sore point. However the organisation is reserving its judgement on EFCL's performance until school opens but is pleading with Education Minister Anthony Garcia and EFCL to ensure that all schools are ready.
